RDI® Consultation and Parent Training
The RDI® consultation is a time for families to learn about Relationship Development Intervention. It includes an introduction to the core deficits of autism, definition of the theory of RDI® and parent surveys. Through effective parent training, parents will gain competency within the program.
RDA® Evaluation
The Relationship Development Assessment or RDA® is an assessment that works closely with the individual on the autism spectrum as well as their parents. The RDA® helps the consultant identify strengths and obstacles and develop RDI® goals. Along with establishing goals within the RDI® program, the RDA® also provides a parent education session, and beginning RDI® activities.
RDI® Guided Intervention
RDI® is a family based intervention. Creative Connections offers families guided intervention which includes direct consultation, ongoing training and video tape reviews. Families will meet with an RDI® Consultant through a combination of direct meetings and video/phone consultations. To meet the needs of each family, Creative Connections provides clinic meetings or home visits.
Basic Skills Training and Video Models
Video models are created to help children gain language, skills, and self-help capabilities.
